Trikes

{Nicole (2 years) and Chelsey (3 or 4 months)}

Yesterday I posted this photo on my mama blog for Christopher and Tia's Flashback Friday (check it out, it's fun!). I really love the trike in the photo. I thought, "Hmmm, I wonder what kind of trike goodies they have on Etsy?" Here are my fave's from my search....

Wren Willow has some really cute apparel! I love this little trike shirt:

Do your kids ever ask you where trikes come from? Well, this tote will take care of any awkward situations...

{Where do trikes come from? ... CyanideStitches}

I love this print. It really brings me back to my childhood...

{Trike print ... SweetEventide}

There are quite a few more trike items... but, these were just a couple of my favorites. :)

And, just in case you're thinking, "Hmmm, my kid needs a trike!" then here you go! I found these on Amazon. I really want to get one for Ruari.

Thursday's three ... New Zealand goodies

My sis and her future hubby are visiting from New Zealand through May (he's from there). So, in honor of their wonderful visit this weeks Thursday's Three is inspired by New Zealand goodies. Enjoy!

Thursday's Three:

This Rose quartz button ring is beautiful. There are a couple small koru's pierced into one of the leaves... In maori culture, these signify new beginnings, birth and growth. Check out Swoon Jewels!

Check out all these awesome fibers at Artemis Artemis. So beautiful. I'd love to knit with these wools!

Please check out this beautiful New Zealand photography from Phunkey Photos. This is a photo of the New Zealand region of Canterbury (Māori: Waitaha) which is mainly composed of the Canterbury Plains and the surrounding mountains. Beautiful.

hits, i decided to find another grouping of unique
maternity photos to share with all of you. it really can be
difficult to find a nice grouping of maternity photos in one
spot. you have to search the entire web to find anything and it
could take hours. so, here is my next grouping of maternity
photos i've been collecting the last couple of weeks.
please enjoy the inspiration!

My wedding photobooth...

I don't know if I've ever shown my wedding guest book. I had a photo booth at my wedding! It was soooo much fun! That was one of the favorites of my wedding from the guests. As far as my budget went I had to decide between a photo booth or video. I chose the photo booth. I do admit I wish I had someone record my wedding (I barely remember any of it). BUT, I absolutely love my photo booth photos. I have a copy of ALL of the photos.
Cover of my guestbook
Some of my bridemaids and friendsOkay fine. I admit it. The girl on the left is my sister and one of the guys on
the right is my husband...

Friends and family. Comments and photos got a little more silly as the
night and wine consumption went on... There was wine spilt on later
photos! So funny!

My Little Boogins...

Today's blog is about my furry son, Angus! He is a long-haired chihuahua.

These photos were taken on my wedding day. He was our ring bearer! We have quite a few photos of him on this day because the photographer loved him! He said usually little dogs annoy him, but Angus is so laid back, everyone loves him! He converts everyone!
In fact, Angus is sleeping in my sweatshirt as I type this right now (he is sooooo spoiled)! He loves to cuddle.

Here he is lounging on the hotel bed with my wedding band. Doing his job as ring-bearer. Since my brain was so flighty that day, we forgot to get a photo of him in his ring bearer outfit! He has a bow tie and a tiny pillow that went on his back. So sweet! I love him.

Eventually we would love to have him work as a therapy dog for seniors. Therapy dogs visit hospitals and senior homes to lift spirits. We're working on getting him used to wheel chairs and working on his manners before that happens. But, he is sweet and will do an amazing job!

Here are some ways I'd like to spoil my son:

Also, I've noticed that another blog I follow also did a blog about her chihuahua! Funny coincidence! TheresaJ
