Dining chair finds.

I'm sorta addicted to dining chairs. I know. That sounds crazy! BUT, I don't like my dining chairs to match. Every one of them are different. I like it. So, this means I'm always browsing online for a couple more chairs to add to my collection. I really need a couple more. It would be nice for the holidays. Here are a couple of my fave's:

I have been eyeing this Kartell Louis Ghost Chair on CSN for a while now. I LOVE that it comes in a kids size too. Ruari needs one.

I LOVE this whitewashed chair I found on Etsy. Etsy is a WONDERFUL place to find vintage/updated furniture. It's green. :) This chair is from: D.I.G.S.

This chair is lovely. The fabric on it is so fun! And, I love that it's painted black. You can find this chair at: Rubbish Rehab.

My pick on Monday: New crowns in the shop

My pick on Monday: The Paper Lady Shop:
There are NEW crowns in the shop for all of you to love and buy! :D

{Paper Lady Invites}

{Paper Lady Invites}

{Paper Lady Invites}

The first 2 crowns are a little different style than what I normally create. I've attached the crowns to a headband. They are a little easier to wear this way. Just using a couple of bobby pins to secure the headband into place really helps. You can wear it ALL DAY LONG. If you want. ;D

Thursday's Three: Growth

This weeks Thursday's Three was inspired by the change and growth my group of girlfriends and I have gone through. We've all known each other for years now. I didn't think it was even possible, but I enjoy and care for my girlfriends more and more with each passing year.

We've all been through a lot together: Friends passing, silly fights, miscarriages, my little birth incident, and MUCH more. I feel like we have grown even closer with all of us getting married and having babies and buying houses... doing big girl stuff!

1) This BEAUTIFUL flower is the perfect image of growth. I love the petals spraying out of it's center. SO lovely. Please visit the VERY talented and lovely Christy at Skinned Knees on Etsy. And, please check out her blog.

2) I love this silk screened art work. The Growing Human Heart. This artist also prints artwork on pillows. I love it. Please check out Utilitarian Franchise!

3) This grow sign is cut out of recycled plywood. Put over a baby's crib, over your piggy bank, in your garden... Please check out WKD Studios for more goodies. There's even a nerd word! :)

Made it to the front page of Etsy. Weeeee...

I was wondering why Google Analytics was telling me that my shop views went up 85%, along with my Paper Lady blog views up 4,900% (ha), and my Paper Mama blog's view were up 10,600%. HA! Thought that was a little crazy. Anywho, it may have something to do with the front page. Yay! It's always a VERY lovely thing to get one of your items on Etsy's front page. It brings a lot of potential buyers to your shop.

{This lovely screenshot was provided by craftcult.com}

And, I must say THANK YOU to That Something for including my paper crown. I had featured one of her cute prints in a past post about feet. Please give her shop a visit!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, on to this weeks Thursday's Three... it is all about my family! I want to support their little businesses any way I can. Here we go...

Thursday's Three: Family

1) Spittin Toad: My cousin, Denise, runs this fun little shop. It's full of her unique creations and I just love it. She has always encouraged me to be creative. I know that a lot of what I create today probably stems from the time I spent being crafty with her while growing up. She recently donated an item for a giveaway on my blog. (Athena Workman won!). Please check out her blog and her shop. Feel free to buy stuff too. :D

{Chalkboard Pendant: Spittin Toad}

 {Handmade stacked bead earrings: Spittin Toad}

2) Pepper and Farley: This is my Mom's Etsy shop. She makes some very lovely nice quality purses, pouches, pendants, and a few other creations. In addition to her Etsy shop she also has a quilting business. This doesn't mean she'll MAKE the quilts for you... she let's you do that part. She owns a GIANT quilting machine and freehands the stitching on your quilts for you with this machine. She's very good and her pricing is great! She accepts quilts from any state (you pay for the shipping). If you are interested in getting your lovely quilt quilted before the holidays, hurry and contact her! Her time fills up quick! You can contact her through sending a conversation in her Etsy shop.

{Put your custom photo on the pouch: Pepper and Farley}

Here I am laying on a quilt made by Janis (my mom). If you go to a larger photo you can see all the detailed stitching. :)

{Quilting by Janis: Contact through Etsy}

3) Cositas Bellas:  This is my VERY good friend Roxana's shop. Ok, so we're not technically family, but we've been friends for about 10 million years now and we know WAY too much about eachother. ;) I love her like she was family, so please show her shop and blog some love. She is extremely talented and very pregnant. :D

I hope you do visit them and enjoy their shops!!! I do!

Thursday's Three: Me! The Paper Lady!

First off... Quick note: Don't forget to enter my giveaway! There are not too many entries... VERY good chance to win! Ends tomorrow evening 7/9.

Ok...
This Thursday's Three is all about my Etsy shop: Paper Lady Invites. With being a new mama I haven't been putting too much time into my shop in the past few months.... But, I'm just starting to figure out how to balance baby time and me time. :)

I'm so excited. I've sold 3 crowns in the past week! We had a little table setting event at Anthropologie (my job)... and I set up a table for a child's tea party! I made 4 crowns to add to the table. Everyone loved them... so I ended up selling a couple! I don't have photos of the table setting yet (it wasn't taken on my camera) but, I did take some photos of the crowns I made. Ruari was kind enough to model them for me!

On to the Thursday's Three (well, Thursday's 6! ;D ):

1) This is a new design I have just started creating. Usually my adult crowns tie to the wearers head... this one is actually a tiara style! That way you can still have your hair all pretty and stylish! I will still be making both versions. My friend bought this tiara to wear to the Oregon Country Fair. I can't wait to see photos!

{Adult tiara crown: Paper Lady Invites}

2) This crown I made for my baby, Laureli. It will be decoration in her baby room until she's old enough to not eat it! I do have one more of these crowns for sale in my Etsy shop. Please click here if you're interested. :)

{Pretty Pink child size crown: Paper Lady Invites}

3) I made this child size crown for the table setting event. I'm going to give it to my buddy Kelsey. Her little girl's name is Coral. She's 3 months younger than Ruari.

{Child size crown: Paper Lady Invites}

4) This next crown was ALSO for the table setting event at AnthropologieI plan to give this to my friend Roxana's daughter: Kamilah. :)

{Child size crown: Paper Lady Invites}

5) This is the 4th crown I made for the table setting event. I really love it. I didn't make this one for any specific person... so, I may put it up for sale. Probably later today.

{Child size crown: Paper Lady Invites}

6) This last crown is another adult tiara crown. This one is for sale. Please check it out if you'd like!

Have a FABULOUS Thursday everyone! AND: don't forget....
