Mmmmmmm! Yum! This weeks shop highlight is on Bon Bon Brittle.

{They came in a sweet little package!}

The two lovely ladies over at Bon Bon Brittle were VERY sweet and sent me a sample box of some different flavors of their yummy brittle.

All their brittle is handmade and hand packaged. They also make them in small batches. They use natural ingredients and try to buy from local suppliers (huge plus to me)!

I was sent 5 different flavors: Bacon, Bacon Chipotle, Chocolate, Divine Almond, and Green Tea. I was most looking forward to trying the bacon flavored brittle's!

Ok, here it goes... I'm trying the MUCH anticipated Bacon Brittle:

My favorite♥ flavors and why I loved them:

1st place: Divine Almond... Of course I was most excited about the bacon brittle, but I was immediately pleased and in love with the Divine Almond! Sweet brittle, with salty almonds. LOVE it!

2nd place: I loved the Bacon brittle... The awesome salty bacon taste is perfect with the wonderful sweet brittle. It crumbles in your mouth. The peanuts were a nice touch too.

3rd place: Chocolate brittle... It wasn't overpoweringly chocolaty, and it still had the nice brittle taste. This would really satisfy my chocolate cravings! Yum!

4th place: Bacon Chipotle brittle... This was great too! Not too spicy and it still had the yummy saltiness of the bacon.

5th place: Green Tea brittle... I have a mug of green tea every morning. I was very curious to try this. It was really good, just not my fave. But, it was my hubby's fave! Maybe it's because I'm such a bacon-oholic... It had the nice green tea flavor with the sweet brittle taste.

I had my Grammy, Nicole, Mike, and my hubby give them a try as well. Here are their favorites:

Mmmmm Bacon! ... Thursday's Three

{Chocolate covered bacon made by my seester: Nicole!}

So, my lovely sister made me some delicious chocolate covered bacon. Yes! Chocolate covered bacon. It was soooooo yummy! Of course, I am a bacon-aholic. Num! Here's the recipe ;) ...

Chocolate Covered Bacon

Recipe by my seester: Nicole!

- Your favorite bacon
- Melted chocolate
- Chili flakes
- Skewers

Preheat oven to 400.

Place bacon on baking sheet (make sure it has edges so the grease doesn't get everywhere). When the bacon is done, skewer it! Dip it in the melted chocolate... sprinkle on the chili flakes... Ta dah! It is yummy!

Another one of my fave bacon treats are the bacon maple bars from Voodoo Doughnut in Portland. They are awesome! Don't forget to get married while you're there!
